Wadie Habboush is an American entrepreneur, investor, and asset manager with a focus on special situations, asset acquisitions, and restructurings in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (magna cum laude) from the Kogod School of Business at American University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University. Habboush is a licensed attorney and has practiced corporate law, notably with Kirkland & Ellis LLP in their London, New York, and Washington, D.C. offices. ​

As the CEO of Habboush Group, Habboush has co-founded and expanded the firm’s asset management business, partnering with leading multinational corporations and financial institutions to acquire, develop, and operate assets globally. He has managed collaborations with entities such as Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group, overseeing international power asset portfolios. Additionally, he has served as an Investment & Operating Partner to I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure investment manager with over $36 billion in assets under management. ​

Habboush has also chaired joint ventures formed with major corporations, including Halliburton-Habboush International and Fluor-Habboush International, focusing on alternative asset investments and development in the EMEA region. His commitment to sustainable energy is evident in his strategic support and investments in smart technologies and renewable energy opportunities aimed at decarbonization over the past fifteen years. ​

At the World Economic Forum (WEF), Habboush has been recognized for his contributions to economic development and strategic investments in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
