Don’t Just Survive In This Gutterball Economy – THRIVE!

That is the message of Ann Sieg, author of the famous book The Renegade Network Marketer, in a new 72-page report for the small business person (or anyone who is considering starting a small business).

This new 2011 release is titled, The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto. While it is targeted towards anyone operating an online business, the information is equally applicable to any small business!

Ann introduces the book by stating, “More than ever, people realize that job security is an illusion. There’s never been more interest in starting up a home business. And the people who are going to benefit the most from this massive migration are going to be those who have learned how to attract business to them.”

The report begins with a dramatic promise for any small business owner: A Simple Plan For Attracting Dozens Of New Retail Customers A Month – With Or Without The Internet.

Ann Sieg relates a breakthrough concept that she discovered by accident while involved with a nutritional network marketing company. After poor results in this company, she began to do demonstrations and started teaching others to do the same.

She was amazed that people actually thanked her for the helpful information. As soon as she stopped pitching them and started genuinely teaching them everything changed.

Personal demonstrations are commonplace in retail stores. But what if you want to expand your retail business, or market a product, service or opportunity online?

Ann reveals her proven two-word formula for sales success: Teaching Sells.

She clarifies that creating sales – whether of a physical product or in the form of recruiting new reps for a network marketing business – is not about in person seminars, meetings, or appointments. It is also not about online ebooks, webinars, lead capture pages, marketing funnels or “any of that stuff. Look at everyone who is having success attracting people to them online. What are they doing? They’re teaching others how to do something.”

Ann advises that the best way to obtain business leads is by providing an educational or instructional message of some sort that is offered in exchange for their money or their contact info.

The lesson is that when you deliver a message to someone you can either pitch them or you can teach them. Pitching is out. Teaching is in.

“This doesn’t mean that you never tell people about your product or opportunity. It just means you have to earn the right to ‘pitch’ them, if you want to call it that, by building a relationship first.”

It is a fact that we live in what has been called “The Information Age”. This craving for information and help plays directly into Ann’s philosophy of leading with a teaching emphasis.

The conclusion that the report reaches is that f you’re not educating your audience, you’re losing customers, prospects and existing downline members to those who are! People who are still doing the grunt work of one-to-one prospecting are fueling the downlines and customer lists of those who are positioning themselves as a valuable resource using the internet.

Ann Sieg also points out that the internet has made the power of prospecting by educating available to anyone – for free. Even the most inexperienced newbie on the tightest shoe-string budget can implement large-scale marketing techniques that used to cost thousands of dollars – techniques that were simply off limits to all but large corporations as recently as 10-20 years ago.

So it is easy to see why the author concludes that every business needs to become a producer and distributor of information. No matter what you think your business category is, you are ACTUALLY in the INFORMATION business.

In this review I can only provide a brief summary of this report. I can highly recommend The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto regardless of your “perceived” business. The full report includes strategies for implementation of a marketing plan based on content and information marketing. Also included is a blueprint to generate revenue with information products that can be used to fund expanded marketing efforts, essentially producing leads for free.

The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto provides a strong argument for becoming a teacher, an information marketer, not the least of which is the credibility and implied expert status that is given to published writers. For many reasons, I can recommend this report to the seasoned and aspiring marketer. Best of all, The Attraction Marketer’s Manifestois available as a FREE download.
